Southampton, PA

April 29, 2021

The Pharmaceutical Heritage Foundation was honored to recently sponsor a cross-industry Advisory Forum with top global commercial leaders on launching innovative treatments.  This team of experts shared their best practices based on decades of experience with launching new pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostic, and medical device products, transforming the quality of care and global public health.  The distinguished speakers included the former commercial executives with extensive industry experience from Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Biogen, Novartis, Roche, Merck & Co., BMS, UCB Pharmaceuticals, and top pharmaceutical consulting organizations, in identifying successful market entry and growth strategies for multi-billion-dollar brands across markets and organizations.

There is a great need to provide leadership in bringing the latest innovative products to the market quickly and efficiently. While many models with a basic roadmap are currently in place to help fulfill the necessary legal, regulatory, and operational requirements ahead of the product launch, we know from experience that each launch is different and requires customized commercial expertise to manage all of the cross-functional efforts necessary to prepare the company and the market. Otherwise, the product will not fulfill the identified unmet needs and it will not generate the expected financial return. Further, now more than ever there is a great urgency to bring more innovations to the market to overcome current public, health-related crisis and prevent or better prepare for future events compromising our quality of life, longevity, and financial well-being.

About Rajul Shah

Rajul Shah is an award-winning international visual artist whose work conceptualizes the strong connection between emotional health and physical well-being. Inspired by her travels, life abroad, and 20 years in the healthcare industry, Rajul’s art conceptualizes healing and resilience through positive energy.  The Japanese Art of Kintsugi and the Japanese concept of Ma are major influences in her work where the concepts of resilience and the positive flow of energy through space allow for a reflective and emotional interpretation of the subject matter.  The art of Kintsugi is a physical manifestation of such resilience. Traditionally applied to pottery in Japan, Rajul’s artwork is a 2D representation of this concept, initially symbolizing the recovery of the Earth after climate change, and now applied to global public health.
